Our Mission
The South Pacific Eyecare Foundation is a not-for-profit organistion dedicated to advancing eye health and reducing preventable vision impairment within the disadvantaged communities of Australia and across developing regions of the South Pacific. Through volunteer outreach projects and mobile eye clinics, we provide vision screenings, dispense free prescription spectacles, manage minor acute eye conditions, and facilitate referrals for further care. We work collaboratively with volunteers, community partners, sponsors, and industry bodies to raise awareness, strengthen access to eye care, and support sustainable initiatives that improve long-term vision and health outcomes.
Since our first project began in 2024, we have already provided vision screening to over 2,300 people and dispensed a little over 1,100 pairs of prescription glasses to those that would otherwise go without.
We are Not-For-Profit. 100% of our income goes directly towards our mission.

Did you know that more than 40% of the population of Fiji lives below the poverty line? On top of this, a review by UNSW identified Fiji’s health system as one of the most under-funded in the world.
Your support can make a real difference in the lives of those who lack access to essential eye care services. Join us in our mission to bring clear vision and hope to the people of the South Pacific.

How You Can Help
By donating financially to our cause, you help fund vital vision screening and dispensing equipment, alleviate some of the costs of shipping equipment and prescription glasses to remote communities, support the education and training of local staff, and enable on-the-ground transport for our volunteers—making life-changing eye care possible where it’s needed most.
